Green Event Coordinator (Contract for Service – 6 Months)

The Role

The Green Event Coordinator will lead and coordinate this year’s major event, particularly on Penang International Green Conference & Exhibition 2025. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and impactful delivery of campaigns and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute PGIGCE 2025.
  • Liaise with sponsors, exhibitors, government agencies, event managers, and corporate partners.
  • Monitor and track event progress, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Ensure timely reporting to the organizing team and steering committee.
  • Maintain sustainability values in every aspect of event planning and execution.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event coordination (experience with green or sustainability-related events is an advantage).
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Driven by a passion for the environment and sustainability.

What We Offer

  • Monthly remuneration between RM2,000 – RM3,500 (negotiable for exceptional candidates).
  • Contract for service: 6 months (May – November 2025).
