Position
The Role
The role will cover 2 main aspects: communication and stakeholder engagement. The Executive Officer is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that enhance PGC’s visibility, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and support the successful delivery of programmes, projects, and initiatives. The Executive Officer will manage internal and external communications, ensure consistent messaging, and foster positive engagement with partners, government agencies, professional groups, and the public.
This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate to gain hands-on experience in sustainability, green industry initiatives, and programme management, contributing directly to Penang’s green industry transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programme communications and stakeholder engagement activities
- Assist in preparing content for website, social media, newsletters, and programme updates
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and engagement sessions with industry and government stakeholders
- Support documentation, reporting, and tracking of programme activities
- Work closely with the PGIP team and PGC MARCOMM team to ensure clear and consistent messaging
Requirements
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, proactive, and willing to learn
