About ReBag Station

Rebag Station is a sustainability initiative under the No Single-Use Plastic Campaign. This pilot at Gurney Plaza serves as the first step before expanding across more malls and supermarkets.

How it works?

Step 1: Donate Your Extra Bags

If you have reusable or paper bags you don’t need, drop them off at the donation box or sharing corner.

Make sure the bags are: Clean | Undamaged | Handles still strong

Step 2: Take a Bag only When You Need One

Forgot your bag while shopping? Just take one with no charges, no questions.

Bring it home and reuse it again!

Step 3: Keep the Cycle Going

After using the bag, pass it on again when you no longer need it.

A single bag can help many different people! That’s the power of sharing!

  • No deposit.
  • Free and simple.
  • Community-powered reuse.

Calling For Partners!

Penang Green Council invites collaboration with malls, grocers, supermarkets, and retail chains. If your organisation is interested in hosting a Rebag Station, we welcome your participation.
